Poet: G.Allana is an eminet poet of pakistan. He is not only a poet but also a well known politician and philosopher. His poetry is full full of mysticism. His love for spiritually is vivid in his poem.

Theme: This poem is based on the idea that basic aim in the life is to get spiritually and it will come only through the utmost submission to God.

Style: The poem "Lost star" consists of five stanzas. Each stanza has different number of lines. In the first stanza third line is rhyming with the fourth. While second and third stanzas are rhymed. In fourth stanza third line is rhyming with the third. As he is a mystic poet so where poem is full of mystic idea.

Language: The language of the poem is not so simple. Words used in the poem are difficult but easy to understand and convey the idea of poet very marvellously.

Conclusion: Poet has imparted his emotions and ideas to the readers very successfully. The poem possesses a different kind of melody. Language of the poem enhance its beauty. This poem can be called the glimps of the all work of G.Allana.
